box" designed specifically for immediate on-site
identification or characterization of virtually any spilled
or abandoned material - hazardous or non-hazardous.
The HazCat Chemical Identification System does the chemistry
for you! HazCat tests are easy to follow and may be done by
non-chemists. The HazCat manual directs the user through
logic charts and step-by-step instructions. There is no math
and measurements are not required to be exact. There are
enough supplies in the kit to do hundreds of tests.
Performing on-site analysis saves time and money.
The HazCat Chemical Identification System is completely
portable and self-contained in a sturdy, easy-to-carry
(19"x11"x11") ABS plastic case. It stores securely and all
the components are accessed conveniently. The HazCat
Chemical Identification System is designed specifically for
field use.
The kit utilizes gas detection tubes for several analytical
tests. You have the option of selecting Gastec or Drager
brand pumps and tubes. You can also select the "none" option
if you have existing Gastec or Drager equipment available
for use with your HazCat Kit.
The HazCat Chemical Identification System is a stand-alone
unit with two options available. The Anthrax Option is a
powerful tool used to rule out the presence of anthrax. The
Meth Kit Option is specific to illegal clandestine
methamphetamine labs and their associated chemicals and
wastes.
